On the property there are two rustic cottages and one worker’s housing unit, complete with wood burning stoves, water, electricity and septic. Cottage #1 overlooks the fruit orchard in close proximity to the main vegetable/perennial garden space. This cottage has new decks and a secondary roof, giving it additional shelter. The living room has bamboo floors, a large bay window and glass doors provide access on to the decks. Cottage #2 has a large private deck sheltered within a hedge of bamboo and lilacs.
The property’s well is 340 ft. deep and produces upwards of 150 gallons of water per minute. The well/water treatment sits within a concrete block structure which was design to double as a root-cellar. The property is irrigated with lake water by a 15 HP pump. Storage tanks allow for gravity flow to the gardens and fruit orchard. Irrigation for the vineyard and walnut orchard are pumped directly.
The entire agricultural production is perimeter fenced and additionally the walnut orchard is sheep-fenced.
